These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Amboit (“Amboit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Amboit is a job-application evaluation and tracking tool. It helps you organize resumes, rules, job descriptions, and outcomes. AI-generated Apply/Skip suggestions and related outputs are informational only — not hiring, legal, immigration, or career advice.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (resumes, profile data, job descriptions, notes, and similar materials). You grant Amboit a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you.

4. AI features & limitations

• Evaluations, resume parsing, and suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.
• You must review every verdict before applying, skipping, or making career decisions.
• Amboit does not guarantee interviews, offers, sponsorship outcomes, or salary results.

5. Third-party services

If you connect optional integrations (such as Gmail), you authorize Amboit to access only the data needed to provide that feature, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of third-party services remains subject to their own terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting unauthorized access, scraping or reverse engineering the Service, uploading malware, harassing others, or using Amboit in violation of applicable law.

7. Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMBOIT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OPPORTUNITIES, OR APPLICATION OUTCOMES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users.
